Depth Chart & Player's Current Position Not Matching.

Last year there was a patched that made sure that a starter would have his position listed as the position he is currently playing on the depth chart. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

This only applies to AI teams. They change the player position to the primary depth chart position.

I am not seeing this for any AI teams at the moment.

In the example picture, Bogaerts is listed as a 3B for the AI team and have been playing SS all season. I simmed the rest of the season and he was still listed as a 3B with all of his starts coming from SS.

Its no big deal but just wondering if this would have any effects on the AI roster building like if Boston listed only a backup fringe player at SS will they think they have a weakness there despite actually having a good player starting there everyday?

Just seen the AI sign a CF for big money in my fictional league while already having a all star playing CF. The all star CF was listed as a LF so Im assuming the AI thought they had a hole to fill. The new CF is stuck on the bench because the team has good OF's already.

Yes, I think this is indeed a bug, It's workings as it did in last year's patch but it's not consistent as before. There are random times where teams do not update (seen teams not update all year) but If go to the manager's profile and view his sample lineup, the player's positions gets updated to what is showing on the depth chart.
