Braves disregard talent, NL refuses to use DH rule

When I check the AI's lineup in the NL, the DH is blank. Also, the Braves sent all there best players back to rookie ball and won only 15 games...

Well, I found out it is only certain NL teams like the Marlins. Here are pictures of the aforementioned bugs.

This is outrageous enough that I assume it's a joke. For all I know, you could be from New Zealand and it might already be April 1 for you.

Probabyl you used the beta patch that was released a couple of days ago. Please install build 17.4.37 again.

I installed the latest build. Here is this season's result. I forced them to release the good players they were keeping in rookie ball. They signed Matt Bowman, a very good 27 year old pitcher, and are now keeping him in AA instead of the majors. I'm going to try firing and rehiring the GM.

For future reference, this happened when I edited two GM's. One to really love trading for and using prospects and the other for veterans. I don't know how this messed the game up, but it clearly did (the other GM is on the slightly less awful White Sox).

You may want to test this a little bit to see if this will be a problem in the future.

Please upload league files for this, so that we can verify the exact reasons why the GMs are choosing certain players over others. While the prospects preference will impact decision making, it certainly should not make that much difference.

Thanks. The GM evaluation criteria was set up so that the total of the 4 values added up to 20. Since your GM has their totals add up to well above that, we ended up in an underflow case, where the GM was thinking players had negative values. Obviously that causes problems in their thinking.

We'll fix this for the next patch, but in the meantime, if you change their GM so that their ratings add up to 20, you should see things return to normal (although I would expect it would be a while for those teams to recover from their GM stupidity).

I can't speak for the DH portion..but it appears to me that "Braves disregard talent" and losing is an OOTP 17 feature as intended. OOTP nails it again! Impressive work by the roster team.
