Intentional walks

I think AI managers are a little too obsessed with setting up double plays.

Two days in a row my right-handed second baseman was walked to pitch to my left-handed first baseman, with a right-hander pitching. They're both good hitters with power; the first baseman platoons but he's having a big year. Both times, he hit a home run.

Considering the high number of double plays we see turned in this game I don't blame them. I do think they resort to intentional walks a bit early though.

That's a good point. I don't use the intentional walk in those situations, but I hit-and-run a lot and avoiding GIDPs is a big part of my motivation.
