The Game Presents: United States Baseball League: Illinois Baseball League Edition

For my newest and hopefully last dynasty thread, we will explore the Illinois Baseball League. The IBL is part of the United States Baseball League. There are currently 8 leagues within the USBL. They are:
Illinois Baseball League
Texas Baseball League
Michigan Baseball League
California League
Florida Baseball League
New England Baseball Association
New York Baseball League
Gulf Coast League

More league will be added in the years to come. These 8 leagues will be part of an association and compete to be the top United States team.

The IBL is a 16 team league spread throughout Illinois. Founded in 2000 with 1900 modifiers and playing in smaller parks with no DH, it consists of the Lincoln Association & the Douglas Association in a 130 game season.

For the Inaugural draft there will be 5 MLB players from the state. There are additional players who were renamed. My team, the Willowbrook Warriors will receive me as a SP/C/Rf/1b, a knuckleballer/hitter on steroids. I'll use my 162 G average from the EBL as my potential for hitting and basically a god for pitching.

The 5 MLers in the 2000 Inaugural draft are

SP Boom-Boom Beck
RP Kevin Fredrick
Of Jody Gerut

The Warriors draft 10th. For now ages are 16-60. I'll probably change that next season.

I recognize many of those cities in the Michigan league. Taylor is basically next door to where I live, too. It's down here near Detroit so if splitting the state between east and west, they'd be in the east. But it is cool seeing their team get named after the local high school (after they rebranded a few years ago to merge the two schools into one; the Cougars and Eagles were the previous nicknames, so they combined them into one animal, a Griffin)
