Independent Minor Leagues?

Does anybody play with entirely independent minor leagues?

If so, I've got a few questions...

If not, I guess I've got a lot of testing to do

First two:

#1 - Do you use the A, AA, AAA levels and do the players matriculate upward between seasons as they develop?

#2 - Do your major league teams purchase players in season or do all purchases/signings happen in the off season?

I guess a lot would depend on your independent league's player creation settings - mine are set to create AA-level players

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I think that I'm trying to create a scenario that just won't run very smoothly with the AI. It might work okay as a sim, but not if I want to play and have an even playing field.

Yeah, same here. Been debating if I want to do one as a sim and something else as a play-in, but I'm lousy at playing two games at once on OOTP.

Sometimes (like right now) I'm lousy at playing ONE.
