Are the draft classes every year accurate to what the draft class was in real life?

Yes, generally. I think there were a couple real life years in the 70's where the age limits changed in quick succession that the game has a little trouble modeling perfectly and one or two guys might come a year or two off during that period (or maybe they're all ok, just going from memory).

Beyond that though, they're pretty accurate. They also don't necessarily have all the guys who never made the NHL, though some of them are present.
