Draft Slot Bonus Baseline
So this is probably a dumb question, but how exactly does the draft slot bonus baseline actually work?
Say I set the baseline to $1,000,000 for simplicity's sake. On draft day I then have tons of guys willing to sign "for slot" in the first five rounds. Only, it doesn't actually tell me what that slot value is. I know the manual says the first overall pick is around three times the baseline, and that it decreases gradually from there, but does anyone know the actual calculus? It's hard to know if the guys with specific demands are even asking for above or below slot (and thus whether I'm saving money or not by signing those guys instead).
Asking because I like to simulate the real draft as close as possible. So ideally I'd know the value of all of my slots and add them together to come up with the draft budget I'd set in team finances and force myself to stick to it as teams have to in real life.
