Can't install

When I try to install, I get the following message:

"Setup has detected that your Visual C++2015 runtime files are out of date. Click OK to install this technology now, or cancel to abort the setup."

The message itself seems strange, since I am running windows10 and am 100% current with all updates. However I did click OK, installed the runtime files, and rebooted my computer. I re-ran the OOTP18 install file and received the same message. Please help.

Simply press OK and let it continue with the installation.

I did click OK and the Runtime files were installed. A message appears saying to restart the OOTP18 install. I did and the original message is again displayed. The only other option is to abort the whole process. I tried that and the OOTP18 install process is aborted as well.

I finally managed to get to the actual OOTP18 install file, and had no problems completing the install. Here's what I did:

1) Rebooted my computer
2) Re-downloaded the OOTP18 install file
3) Manually re-installed the Visual C++2015 runtime files from the Microsoft web site.
4) Rebooted my computer
5) Ran the OOTP18 install file
6) Got the same "your Visual C++2015 runtime files are out of date."
7) Clicked OK
8) This time instead of beginning the installation of the runtime files, the actual OOTP18 installation dialog box appeared, allowing me to initiate the install.

This procedure may or may not work for those people having the problem, but if you continue to have trouble, it may be worth a shot.

I thought it was weird that I had to reinstall Visual C++2015? I would think Windows 10 would be up to date?
