Possible for no fictional players?

Am I missing something? I would love to create and play my league without fictional players. They always seem to generate and I have been unable to figure out how to stop them. I usually start my career in 2005. Any guidance would be appriciated. Thank you in advance

Certainly is possible. How are you creating your league? What are the settings? Even in a historical league, there are 4 free agent generation settings that need to be turned off.

I just updated to OOTP18. So I decided to try something new before I expand my league.
I generated a historical league starting in 2004 (I will simulate this year, then expand the league)
I have the international free agent stuff to none
same with the independant

Draft? Import rookies?

How are you determining that fictional players are being generated?

I automatically import historical rookies and do the normal amatuer draft

Sorry for my delayed response here... My game always seems to generate some fictional players and puts them on my roster, it just happened again, around the begging of June in game I get that I have 2 spring training invites still on my roster, when I check, I now have 27/25 on my active roster and 2 computer generated players on my team under contract that just appear

The game does create fictional players even when every box is checked not to.

This is a bug and has been reported to the development team.
