ootp18.exe has stoppped working

My saved game suddenly won't load, even after reinstalls of the program and game data.

I can launch the program, but when I continue or load the saved league it immediately crashes every time.

A new league seems to work okay so far, so it seems the league is corrupted. Just hoping there's a way to save it. I don't recall any power losses or any other odd things happening that might have led me here.

if it's really corrupted, you're probably out of luck. but i found this post from Lucas on how to use the auto save feature to restore (if you have one ???)

Thanks that did work! A bit out of date but enormously better than all lost forever.

yeah, a little out of date is better than lost for certain.
