Awards problem
There seems to be a serious problem with awards in the new patch.
If AI voting is enabled, the MVP Award is routinely awarded to pitchers, disregarding the setting that pitchers may not win the award. Possibly it is the same for Pitcher Award and relievers, but I have not tested that. If AI voting is disabled, the MVP Award, Pitcher Award, Reliever Award and Rookie Award are not awarded at all and do not have their news message. The Offense by Position and Defense Awards do have their news message, but it is empty and they are not awarded. The only award actually awarded in such case is the Manager Award. |

First one I believe yes, that setting may have gotten broken in some cases when we applied a fix where two-way player were accidentally being excluded from Cy Young votes.
For the second case, did you cast a vote yourself for those awards? If the AI voting is disabled and there are no human ballots, then no award will be given out (the Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards should not be given out either, and the mail was an error). |

Thank you for the response and explanation!!
For the second part - ah, that makes sense. No, I didn't cast a vote. Let me explain, how I got there - I essentially want to have voting enabled, but when I saw the problem with MVP awarded to pitchers, I tried what will happen when the voting is disabled (without any interference of mine). In that case I just need to test how to accomplish a combination I would like - to have AI voting enabled, to vote for the awards, but to be able to give my custom award to an individual I choose (essentially to choose the man with most TB, which is not a matter of voting). Thank you once more! |

![]() The only way in which I was able to get the custom award actually awarded, was the manual award voting with drag & drop. So i can essentially do what I want with manual selection of the custom award and asking computer for the other ones. The only setback is that it takes away the fun of the voting and the gradual announcement of the awards, but I can live with that ![]() |

I also had a pitcher win MVP despite having the "pitchers may win" box being unchecked. So it's definitely tied to the new patch.
