Issue with lineups - backup batters are starting every game.

I'm having an issue where my backup players are starting every single game instead of my starters. When I have at least 2 non-catcher positions (Catchers don't seem to be affected) where the backup is listed as "Every X Day" for when they start, those players will now start games instead of my listed starter in the lineup section. If a player is listed at 2 backup places like this then he will swap between the 2 spots but will start almost every day.

An example would be: 2B Albies and SS Swanson are the starters at their positions. 2B Cruz is listed as the primary backup at both 2B and SS. Cruz is scheduled to start every 10th day at 2B and every 15th day at SS. Every single game one of the following happens: Albies starts at 2B and Cruz starts at SS, or Cruz starts at 2B and Swanson starts at SS. (1 Upchop if you can guess which team I'm using)

I sim all my games from the main screen, and this problem is occurring. The box scores and player statistics, and game logs all backup that the bug is occurring.
I restarted the game, reloaded a backup prior to the season, and started an entirely new game and the bug still persisted.
I have reset the lineups multiple times but it still persists as long as 2 or more positions have a backup set to start every X day.
I have tried changing up the interval for how often the backups are listed to play, and mixed up which positions have backups listed to play, and changed the players themselves and the bug persists.
It doesn't seem to come into effect until about mid-April, before then it seems to work fine.
I am the manager and GM, and lineups are set to be under my control.
My bench coach is not controlling, and this bug continued after I fired my bench coach.
My lineups are properly set with my starters listed at their starting positions and my backups as only getting starts every X days.
7 day lineups are off and have always been off.

I have a similar problem..

I have 1 backup OF set to play RF every 4th game, CF every 5th game, and LF every 6th game. It is the same vs LH and RH.

20 games into the season and this backup OF has played every game, except he switches between CF and LF. My RF has played every game and is exhausted.
