One of the first things that I like to do with my Minnesota Twins in OOTP is to hire minor league coaches that will best develop my players.
Is there a way to better find good developmental coaches? What I'm doing now is when I start a new game I have to click into literally every coach and check to see who is both "Excellent" in development and willing to sign a minor-league deal. This takes a tremendous amount of time, but in an incredibly tedious way. Is there a way to better find good developmental coaches? |

Depending on how much fog of war you still want - you can export the coaches csv file and filter based on their coaching ratings in excel. I'm not too sure if there is a way to do this inside of OOTP

It would be VERY helpfuly if you can page down/up like you can during draft etc. Clicking each one is tedious.

you get no real feedback in game...
if it says tehy like workign with kids or pitchign etc.. it just means it's slightly higher than the alternative... it doesn't mean it's "good".. e..g 50/200 vs 20/200 reputation is 100% about results, which for a coach is barely correlated with his ratings. take any crap coach, put them on a good team and he will have a good reputation just as quickly as anyone else. i'd stick to what you can see with certainty.. the focus of the coach. match it to how you draft and what you value.
