Is there an option to play spring training games?
I was setting up my season -- going to play the 2018 campaign as the Cardinals -- and when it came to spring training games the schedule was blank and it seemed it to want to sim to the season opener.
Is there something I need to click as to while I don't intend to play all the spring training games, I do want to set the lineups and see how they do when it comes down finalizing the last few roster spots? |

It's on by default, but it'll only show up after your first season.

I am not 100% sure on this, as I do not really care about spring training, but it seems like I tried setting it up with the March 8 start as 2 weeks and did get a spring training season. That doesn’t do a lot, but you could play around with 1/2/3 weeks and see what shows up.

Could not find a way to generate a spring training.
Disappointing, as I hoped to see how some of the younger players who fought for roster spots in Jupiter this year would do here and see if I would decide on a different roster than what the game does. Guess, I will have to make my decisions based on my own hunches as the game must start the season based on spring training already have had occurred. |
