Hi.....what do you mean the rosters are wrong? What are you trying to do / what year, etc?
And.....not sure how to answer the retirement question. players have to retire eventually. |

Then again, wasn't Ty Cobb quoted as saying, "you've got to remember-I'm seventy-three" when asked why he thought he would only hit .300 against the pitchers of the day? Maybe if we didn't allow him to retire in OOTP we could test out that theory. Last edited by BirdWatcher; 05-11-2018 at 04:28 PM. |

If a player retires, unretire him. Will have to be in commissioner mode. As far as rosters, this sounds like a user error and will need more information.
I also suspect if you cranked the aging setting down you'll get players staying a lot longer. Last edited by Mets52; 05-12-2018 at 07:29 AM. |

missing players
actually, every team i've looked at is missing players (the 2018 demo was not). For instance, 2015 bluejays do not have david price, etc. (2018 game version they did)

Maybe because Price played more games for the Tigers than the Bluejays in 2015? Just guessing as I don't play historical that often so not sure how the game determines which team to put a player on if he played for more than one team that year.

Historic rosters, from what I know, are composed of how the rosters were at the start of the season. Price was traded in July 2015 from DET to Toronto, so it would be incorrect for him to be included in Opening Day 2015 for the Jays. He should be on the Tigers in your 2015 save though. If you want Price on Toronto from the beginning of 2015, you'll have to trade him, or force trade him, yourself.

You can only set age limits for leagues and lower the development #'s to get players to play longer. In one test league i have a player that has over 5000 HR over 43 seasons. Rookie at 24 now 77. Age limit in 900. He also happens to be named Darth Vader.
