Minor Leagues as Mirror Images of the Majors

Something that I always get stuck on when making fictional leagues is picking out all the minor league teams. I get bogged down and am never satisfied with what I come up with. I was thinking about having a league where every minor league is essentially a mirror image of the majors. So the Brooklyn Dodgers would have the AAA Dodgers and AA Dodgers and so on down the line.

Has anyone done a league like this?

That's mostly how the ***'s minor league works.
