Reserve roster clock resets if you put the player for auction?

I think I have these details right:

I (accidentally) put my closer on the reserve roster, so he's stuck there for 14 days.

I figured I might as well put him up for auction for a reasonably high price, see what I can get.

My fee was too high, nobody bid.

When he was re-activated, and put back on the reserve roster, his reserve roster clock seems to have been reset to 14 days.

You can see in the picture that he hasn't pitched since Aug. 31. It's now Sep. 10, but he still has 12 days left on his clock. I don't recall exactly what day he went on the reserve roster, but it certainly wasn't two days ago.

Yes, since he was not on the reserve roster when he was up for auction, his clock did not run down. This is intentional.
