#1 Pitcher is pitching consistently on 2 days rest

Can someone tell me what is going on here or how I can stop this? Carlos Martinez is my #1 pitcher. I started the season with my pitching settings at "Strict - On occasion highest rested" and here is how the Game utilized him today.

He was always being trotted out on 2 days rest. He was being pulled on subsequent starts in the second 3rd or 4th innings after 60 pitches regardless of how well he is doing

My strategy sliders are at the default so it should not be them. After the game on the 14th I manually swapped him in pitching order and forced a different starter in order to get him back to 100% rested. I also set my strategy to "Strict Order".

It did not make a difference the game still pitched him on two days rest on the 23rd.

This can seriously screw up my team. He is pitching every third day, tired or not. He is removed from subsequent games early, forcing my bullpen to be overworked. I need to figure out how to stop this behavior.

Can you post a picture of your pitching staff page? Would need to see exactly what you have set there to understand what might be happening. Also, did this start with the new season, or was this happening in the entry pool too?

Here it is. The only change I made was swapping Rich Hill and Martinez and forcing Hill to start to give Martinez the extra rest.

It looks like maybe it finally righted itself as he is now on his 4th day of rest without a start. But this screenshot shows you the weird distribution of games started by my starters.

Did you turn off auto-submit rosters? That could help. I've seen this issue come and go. It usually happens when you change your pitching staff in the middle of the season. I haven't noticed it happening if you never touch it. But turning auto-submit off seemed to help some in beta.

Is it on or off by default? I have never touched that setting.

I think it resolved itself after I swapped a couple of rotation spots around and switched to a Strict rotation.

I won't know for sure until after work tonight.
