Two way players

So I acquired Brandon McKay from Tampa but they seem to have made him only a 1B. How do I get it back to where he will be used as hitter and P again?

If you go to strategy > player strategy, and select him, there's a box to designate him as a two-way player there on the bottom right of the screen.
