Can't buy PP on steam

Just picked the game up last night, wanted to buy some PP to upgrade my team but it just flashes and doesn't go anywhere else. I checked the steam over lay and then added some money to my steam account (previously had nothing linked, assumed that was the issue.) Still nothing, I'm confused and out of ideas, anyone have any idea why this is happening? If so do you know a fix? Thanks!

Maybe it was just a brief Steam server hiccup. Usually it works when the Steam Overlay is indeed enabled.

I wish it was, not sure whats going on... worked on my account on a different computer. Must be my computer but I can;t figure it out for the life of me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated lol
