Am I that old? Nah, just middle-aged, but I do know how to count.
Unfortunately, that's not a common skill it seems...
from a local newspaper:
"Jays Rule 5 rookie Elvis Luciano also made his debut, becoming at 19 the youngest player in Jays history. He is also the first player born in the 2000s to play in a Major League game."
first player born in the 2000+. Technically, it's last century if "2000." people don't know how to count to 100 or 1000, i guess. you start with 1, not zero, therefore 10, 100, 1000 etc are the 10th, 100th, or 1000th year... and a new decade, century or millenia doesn't start until 11, 101, 1001 etc. hopefully a pattern is apparent to most? it's hilarious that ~6billion people celebrated the "new" millenia a year early. seriously... learn how to count. a decimal system is easy to grasp... well, it should be.
3 countries still use the standard system instead of metric, lol... 2 third-world countries and the USA... errr possibly 3 3rd-world countries in the very near future. i mean, we can't count to 10, on average.
