How will this bill affect OOTP if passed?

NOT trying to stir the pot...read the article, read the law, and let's keep debate low key and focused on the issue.

They're already talking about this in the PT forum.

Loot boxes are cancer, as is putting anything behind a grind wall in singleplayer gaming. I'm looking at you, Warner Bros.

The funny thing is that no gamer welcomes legislation until the subject is loot boxes and pay-to-win. They are hated just that much. And I agree.

Yet there are still those willing to spend the money. It's their money.

I'm all for getting rid of loot boxes, whether pay-to-win or grind-for-cosmetics. They are both useless to me, but I understand why companies want them. If someone is stupid enough to pay for a blue helmet instead of the red helmet that comes included, I don't think it's the company's responsibility to stop them.

Seeing as PT is purely pay-to-win I think it would have a major affect on OOTP. It will have an indirect affect on the single player experience if the studio has less money coming in I guess. Interesting to watch going forward.

Perfect Team is new though, they had OOTP for some 18 years before it just fine.
