How to take over team?

I started without managing a team in 1967.

Commissioner mode enabled.

I go to "Manager: Take Over Team" and click on a team I want to take over and there appears to be nothing else to click.

But nothing happens

Manager Options screen shows me as unemployed.

You'll get job offers from teams once they have vacancies (and you should have a few in your mail to start), or you can turn commissioner mode on and that will let you take over any team via that screen.

I go to take over steam screen but nothing happens when i click a team

Try right-clicking.

Yeah, it's not really clear. I think I had a note in the to-do list somewhere that we needed to add a "right-click here" comment to that screen, but it hasn't gotten done yet.
