HOF Inducted Players Page

The plaques appearing on the HOF inducted players page cut off the bottom line or two of text in the player description section (see attachment).

Has anyone else noticed this and/or is there something I can do to fix it?

It is like that on many of my hall-of-famers.

It may be a case of too much copy... it doesn't fit the space allocated by the coding, I suppose... there are just too many words to fit in the space allocated... the Beta Team editors should have caught this.

Had no noticed that before but yeah that's a bit disappointing. You can try to decrease the font size in the template to 9 or even 8 and see if that makes a difference...though obviously you can't make it too much smaller or you won't be able to read it comfortably. \data\bb_cards\templates\ootp23\hof is the file you want to edit based on what you are showing there I believe. Section in that xml file is Career Highlights.

Thanks Eugene and koohead, it's been a relief to know that this is not just me! And thanks for the pointer to the file, koohead. I have messed about through trial and error and have got the plaques to a point where I am happy. I have bolded the text, reduced to font=9 as suggested and moved the text sections up slightly under the photo. Result is my tests so far show all plaques have readable text and it is contained in the plaque

Strange thing is that about half the HOF inductee page plaques have a zoomed out photo not a head shot as directed in the hof.xml and all have no background. No idea why but if I remove the player from the HOF and then (re) induct them they all then have the correct close up face with a background.

I'll need to remember to check each HOF inductee at the time they are promoted to HOF and if the photo is wrong I will need to remove and re induct!

Partly solved! General settings need to have Facegen zoom=IN to give full face in plaque.

However, I cannot figure out why the auto induction never provides a background to the facegen pic, the second shot below is a manually generated HOF for the same player and includes a background image.
