Can't play Champions League games

Instead of being taken to the lineup screen when I have a Champions League game, the game redirects to the news screen. I can sim past it, though in the first week it refused to let me sim and said I had to respond to a news message (so I simmed past using Do Not Disturb).

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

It looks like there's an issue with playing the game with the Continue/Play button, we'll check that. But if you go to the Champions League schedule screen, the "Play" option there for your team should work normally.

the option is there but it gives me 'too many players on the active roster' even though I have 24 and the limit for Liiga is 27.

But for the CHL the limit is 23 I believe, so you have to drop one to juniors/Mestis and then you should be able to play that match.

22. But I think we should probably change that, it's not really necessary to limit the roster size for CHL games, just the lineup, and it's annoying have to send guys down just for those games.
