Reliever of the Year
Last season in Diamond 2058 Chris Carpenter was named Reliever of the Year (10-7, 2.76 era, and 3 saves) but my reliever Sandy Koufax lost out (5-10 2.68 era, and 43 saves). Confused

How many innings did each pitcher logged?
Plus that's awful close, I know they say W-L doesn't mean much but 1. it looks bad, and 2. he was closely sort of related to twice as many losses as wins in that one way of counting them.

Yeah, lots of factors too. If your guy took 10 losses, bound to be a few BS in there too which would hurt things too.

Need to see the entire line to see why. As other stated, innings pitched, and blown saves matter as do raw numbers like K/9, BB/9, WHIP, etc. Saves are nice but dont paint the entire picture.
