Smile A Beginners Story - The Ridgewood Wanderers

Hello to the OOTP Community. I am a beginner and wanted to share my adventure in Perfect Team. I was hoping for some feedback and any suggestions. I am having lots of fun and look forward to some chat.(I have been and will be spending money on this team)

I Created the Ridgewood Wanderers 3 weeks ago and currently are in the middle of the Iron League with a record of 97-13. I had a 45 game win streak at the beginning of the season.

I won the Rookie level(132-30 - Score 1792) and Stone Level (121-41 - Score 1584) - I have come to learn that these records are not good and that a serious team needs to DOMINATE these leagues.

I recently finished the live card missions which made my team much stronger. I am purchasing PP each Friday to improve my team the first few weeks which has worked out well. I wasted some points on buying gold packs which I am learning is not the best way to go about it. I have pulled a few 100's ( Carl Hubbell, Barry Bonds Peak, Dennis Eckersley peak)

Rosters and Lineups next...

Roster

This is the current roster I am using. Recent additions include Trout and Pesky. I am going to use Pesky for Defense over Lindor at SS vs Lefties. I will move Lindor to 2b vs lefties and put Cano on the Bench. I had been using Albies at 2b against lefties but the production was not there.

Boring....

Gee willikers, what can I possibly learn from reading this blog other than if you drop enough cash to buy PP's you can add a quality perfect card to your team every week or so and end up in a perfect league.

I think I knew that, and I suspect I'm not alone.

Oh yeah, you're from NYC and you believe that the world will stop spinning on its axis the minute you die.

WOW!!! This was the proof I needed to show the class of most of the people that play OOTP! Thank you for you kind comment lol I did spend some cash but I also used the PP i earned in buying and selling the live cards once they start to move in price...hmmm like the stock market...Yes you can find that in NYC too.
