[MacOS] Write Report To Disk...doesn't.
FINAL UPDATE:
I installed version 21.2.38, and the reports now open in my web browser. (Though they still appear in the "news/html/temp" folder, rather than in "news/html/reports" -- but this works!). Thanks for the fix, folks! UPDATE 3: So I just checked - this is the case for all such reports. I just attempted to generate a Report on my Schedule setup, and it fails the same way - switch to my web browser and do nothing. Seems like, application-wide, some write-to-disk function is failing to generate the HTML file that the system is expecting to open. UPDATE 2: I've upgraded to the latest Hotfix (21.1.34) and the reporting issue has not yet been resolved. ----------- UPDATE 1: Okay, more details. I'm running Mac OS X 10.14.6, and OOTP 21.1.32. First problem, my league files/saved games are NOT in my Documents folder (contra the manual), but are located in [user]/library/Containers/com.ootpdevelopments.ootp21macqlm/Data/Library/Application Support/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP Baseball 21/saved_games -- that seems like a pretty big issue right there. I started a brand new vanilla 2020 MLB non-Challenge Mode season, then simmed to the end of the Regular Season. Once there, I'm trying to get a big report exported with 12 stat categories for every player in MLB level, but the Report button doesn't function (details below). I've FTP'd the saved .lg files as "CRBL_ROTO_SIM.lg.zip" ----------- Not sure if this applies more broadly, but I can only report what I've seen: In the Sortable Stats area under MLB Statistics/Player Statistics, the option in Report>"Write Report To Disk" does nothing. No file is created on my disk in the /news/html/reports section. If I Select "Open Report", it takes me to the report in the game window, with the button "Open in Browser". Clicking this switches to my web browser, but then does nothing. Last edited by bafusilier; 03-30-2020 at 05:01 PM. Reason: Latest update fixes the bug. |

(sorry if this is poor forum etiquette, but I've updated the post with more details).

Am I the only one seeing this problem, I wonder? I tried adjusting permissions for the buried settings folder/directory, but nothing changed. Still won't export an html file with the report, and I can't select the text on the OOTP screen to copy paste it myself. :/

I am getting HTML reports going into the news/html/temp directory, but nothing in the news/html/reports directory. So, it seems I'm seeing what you're seeing.

I confirm the reports showing up in the news/html/temp directory, too. So it seems they just aren't making the move. Good to know! Thanks!
