Development Budget

Is there a big difference when you pump the maximum amount of money into your development budget?

Id be interested to hear how your players have developed and if that is a huge factor?

I have recently started rebuilding and went from 10 million to 34 million into my development budget, so hoping that has a dramatic impact on how my top recruits and farm system evolve.

It has an effect but don’t expect an huge effect. Besides, actually developing players have so many other variables.

This Particular feature isn’t meant to work like an XP upgrade

Also don’t expect to see overnight results. You may not notice a difference unless you put 34 mil a year in dev budget over multiple years.

I have found that it really does have an effect. it's not going to create superstars out of 5th round players but i will help players reach their potential faster. Never go below the league baseline and only add to the budget if you have extra money. I'd still rather sign an impact FA than pump up development

Besides random luck, I find it has the greatest effect on prospect development. It helps players improve their current ratings faster more so than with potential increases. Still, it's going to take multiple years to notice an tangible difference. It's very possibly to have a rubbish year of prospect development with it the budget maxed out.
