Why was demand removed from the default view?

This is from the IAFA screen; however, I noticed it also in the regular free agent screen. I fixed it by customizing the view, but the question remains: why was this removed? It looks like this was removed in the beta patch.

Edit: And also...Option year used? Why is that there? That is irrelevant to this screen.
