Steam?
Is there any reason I should buy FHM 6 on Steam? Are there any advantages/disadvantages of purchasing it on Steam?
Thanks! |

The developers have answered this question in the past. It's really your own preference. Fastspring gives people who don't like to be forced to install a 3rd party software like Steam, a way to get the game directly. Steam provides good visibility for the game but would take a bigger % of the profit for each game sold.

Steam also gets you the Steam trading cards, and automatic updating. Other than that, no real difference. We may at some point decide to use Steam's opt-in beta features to release advance beta versions of updates (they make it very easy, where doing that for the standalone version would be much more time-consuming), but we haven't started doing that yet.
