Compensation in Staff Finances

Hi,

I'm wondering how the compensation is calculated in Staff Finances. I have a feeling this amount is just increasing over time.

It's tied to the overall budget, so yes, in most cases it'll increase in the first few seasons because that overall budget amount will tend to increase.

I started the game with a decent size scouting and coaching staff and now only have 4 scouts 1 assistant coach and a trainer. my staff budget is only 200000 above my GM/Coach salary. I just lose staff each year and the budgets never change. Confused?
