Photos questions - naming and usage

Just a few questions on player photos.

In the manual it says the best way to name photo files is by the Lahmen ID. Where do I find this in the game? I've looked at the editor tab page and do find "Player ID" but I believe this is the OOTP ID number.

Also, why is it that most player packs use just regular naming conventions which seem to give problems when trying to load them. Is "regular naming" actually better/easier than Lahmen?

And finally, does anyone have any best practices for using player packs or suggestions on which ones are the best?
