Not sure if this is out there or I have over looked it, when you search is there a way to seach for only players you listen such as /h> and if not, wouldn't it be a very attractive openion, particillarlly for me me, ones who ust try to collect, I doubt I will ever win

There can be some surprises, if you search for Giant you get the occasional Negro leaguer. If you want to search by team, these are the shortest strings I have found that work well. AL E = yank\|d sox\|e jays\|tampa\|oriol AL C = india\|twins\|e sox\|roya\|tiger AL W = oakla\|eatt\|gels\|exas\|stros NL E = mets\|phillie\|miami\|brave\|nation NL C = pira\|cubs\|reds\|wauk\|cardin NL W = giant\|dodg\|rockie\|ariz\|padre I suspect you can also search for specific years or decades with, say, 192*. You can also search for generic OF's with lf\|cf\|rf.
