suggestion on injury ratings

it might already be in there but I have never seen it ....

I know the injury rating will drop with multiple injuries but when a guy starts out as fragile and goes 5 years without anything more than a week long DTD injury shouldn't his fragile tag go away?

Each player has an injury rating, which can be seen in the editor. This determines their likelihood to get an injury.

The injury rating you see, I think, is a peek at this rating.

If you have a fragile player who has avoided injuries, this is, I think, luck rather than a change in their susceptibility to injury. So, in that case, no it should not change.

Now, if one wanted to argue that we shouldn't know that underlying rating, I might be inclined to agree.

It also might be that the rating can fluctuate, increased after a long day off, or after another injury, and can, then, decrease as they player works back into shape.

Not sure how much can change but I have seen guys go from a "durable' rating to an "iron man" rating. I don't know if this change from a worse rating to a better rating can happen at all rating levels.

There are 4 injury ratings under the hood, and the “Fragile” is a quick approximation of all of them combined. They can go down over time if they don’t get hurt at one or more of the ratings (they’re split out to arms, legs, head, and other) but IME if you play on the default High setting it’s not a matter of if but when for those players getting hurt.
