Trouble setting up a fictional league with real players.
I am trying to start a fictional league in 2020 but have the draft pool be populated with random rookies from all eras as well as fictional players. I like the league to be mostly fictional but with some random real players added in.
I have the settings "Automatically import historical rookies" and "Use random rookies from all eras" enabled but my draft pool is either fictional players or players populated from only current players from 2020. Has anyone had this problem? |

Bugger. The only other idea I can think of is the database, but I can't see how that would really come into it. I feel you, so frustrating when things like this happen for no apparent reason. The only consolation I can offer is that it's usually something simple you've done / missed and hopefully one of the gurus will get on here and set you straight. Maybe do a screenshot of the settings page - I'll cross reference it against my fictional league that has random rookies enabled and works fine.

The number of real rookies that are imported - I believe - depends on how many players you need for your Draft that year. So the way to reduce that is to get more fictional players in there via Manual Import.
But the lack of variety in their era is inexplicable (to me at least) from that screenshot, which identically replicates mine. |
