so for you guys that have fiction leagues how do you play? do you create the entire league and then pick a team to play or are there other ways to play?

It varies for me, but, I generally create the league, get all my team concepts, settings, and suchlike loaded up, and then SIM for 10 or so years to normalize things... I typically play with 1986 or 1989 settings, so, I want to see those outputs consistently before I take the next step.

From there, if there is a team I really love, I'll take over as the GM and get to dynasty building, if I've become enamored with the whole thing, I'll take a slower approach to simming out seasons and just immerse myself in the game world as it unfolds.
