Bizarre Minor League Stats in Fictional League
Hi all, I play a fictional game based off of the real-world (real teams with fake players and no history). The average minor league has a batting average of over .300 and an ERA hovering above 7.00. How can I get these numbers more in-line with accurate MiLB stats? Thanks!

Did you use the game's standard settings when creating your league? I think there's a standard template for creating a fictional MLB-based world, but you can also alter your settings in advanced mode. If you changed settings for your minors or created them yourself, that might have caused an issue.
If you're using the default settings, stats should be fairly normal, although if league evolution is turned on, offense could potentially increase. I don't know if that could happen to just your minors, though. Is this only happening through part of a season, or are you seeing this across multiple seasons? If it's only part of a season, it could be a sample size issue where your results may eventually normalize, although things sound pretty extreme. |

I have used the standard template for the fictional MLB-based world, and have simulated 40 seasons' worth of action. This has been a consistent issue, but solely with the minor and independent leagues. MLB, ***, and KBO do not produce these abnormal results.
