Minor leagues not generating a schedule

Hello,

Currently I am having an issue where my minor league teams are not generating schedules. I noticed this during my first season, I think its was my single A team had no games to play for the entire season. The rest were fine. I figured I could generate a new schedule the next year but now all of my teams have no schedule except my MLB team and my AA team. It will also not let me generate a new schedule for my teams because it says I need to be in preseason, even though I am. Current date is Feb 23rd and it says preseason started a while ago.

I am playing OOTP 21 and I have a standard MLB setup with fictional players. I started the league in 2000 and simmed it until 2006 and that's when I joined in. I don't have mods or any strange settings that I am aware of. This is my first season I ever completed and I am bummed out that my league is messed up. Any suggestions on how to get this resolved? You might try shifting the event for the preseason for the specific league with the schedule issues. Even if you're in the preseason for your main league, it might not yet have started for the minor league.

That seems to be the case. I was able to create schedules for all the minor league teams after starting spring training. Is there some way to avoid this in the future? Im a little confused why a league would not generate a season like that.

Generally if you add a new team to a league, you need to manually regenerate schedules, at least for the first time.

The game will not automatically do that since sometimes people might want to add an expansion team a year early but not have them play etc.

But after generating a schedule including the new team for the first time, the game should auto generate schedules correctly going forward in future years.
