Disable Auto Update of Logos, Jerseys, Caps?

In my historical organization the above mentioned things seem to get updated each new season. I have been manually replacing the objects in the saved game directories, but they still get overwritten by updates. Is there a way to stop this so that I they only change if I replace them?

Try going into the edit colors and uniforms menu inside the game. There should be an option called “Lock team logos and textures” or something like that. Check that box. Worked for me.
