Instant PBP

Whenever I play out a game and advance in any way, the PBP speed defaults to instant regardless of what settings I have actually chosen either before the games starts or by going to options and adjusting any of the PBP settings.

This seemed to have started after a recent system update, so wondering if it has to do with an update to a driver on my PC. There were also other changes that happened to the file I am playing on (all Facegens changed, and some other visual settings were impacted). The PBP setting however is universal across all saves and something I can't adjust in any manner.

Any tips? I have also forced game data reinstallation. I found an old thread from 2017 that seemed to have the same issue but this was addressed in a patch.

That's really odd. What are your system specs?

It might help us to have a trace file to check out, which you can create using the instructions here: https://support.ootpdevelopments.com...debug-log-file

The trace file is uploaded as "alec_shultz5 trace file.txt". System specs are screenshotted below.

Also, I tried to boot up OOTP 20 and wasn't having this issue there. Tried with multiple saves on 21 and started a new standard game and was still having the same issue.

Unfortunately, I'm kind of stumped as of now. It's never a bad idea in situations like this to update your drivers/OS just in case there's something not updated there that's triggering some weirdness.

Beyond that, the next step would be to open a support ticket so the tech support guys can work through some additional troubleshooting with you.
