Custom game Junior league contracts

Wondering about players being drafted in the major league signing contracts with their junior teams. The Major league "honours" the Junior contracts and I must wait for his contract to expire before signing my Drafted Prospect?

I do not have entry level contracts enabled on my major team.

Is there something I'm missing or is this just not integrated into custom games like it would be in the standard game?

II ran into a similar problem where my NHL rights to a player expired because the player had signed with junior teams, (and kept signing Junior contracts until after my NHL rights to the player expired) and I got the message that NHL teams honour Junior contracts.
Eventually I had to go into edit mode and sign the player to my team.
But I thought this was fixed in the last update.

The fix is in the beta version of the new update, actually. It'll be available to everyone once we release the final version of that.
