Questions about LNAH
Hello!
I'm playing in Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey and got a few questions. 1) I got that players must be from Quebec to be able to play in the league, but sometimes I see signable players who are not from Quebec. Like, I was able to sign Jason Fabian, who is American from Minnesota, was never drafted in LNAH and never played in Canada. He was the only foreign player in the entire league in 20/21 season. Why was I able to sign him? (see screenshot below). 2) All players on the draft are from Quebec. But teams have possibility to have 2 foreigners in active roster. I tried to offer contracts to foreigners, but got message, that I don't own rights for that player or signing is not possible. How do foreigners get into league? I know it is possible since I was able to sign Fabian, but why can't I sign any player I want? 3) Why was I forced to pick goalies in first two rounds of draft? Other teams picked players of different positions, but I was not able to do it (see screenshot below). Thank you! |

Thanks for your answer.
I understand that. I was wondering why was I able to sign American who never been in Quebec, but can't sign other foreigners. |

Was Fabian playing in the Eastern Canadian Senior league before he signed? I think that'll be counted as a Quebec-based league.
