Turning off Jersey Number

Is it possible to turn them off?

Nothing more annoying then having to deal with ' Players need to be assigned numbers'

I know we can turn on Do not disturb but I mean why this feature is still annoying since it has been into the game

There's a "Manage Jersey Numbers" setting in Team Control Settings (on the Manager-Options screen) that'll let you set it so your assistant handles them.
