Using bullpen roles

Still learning about baseball as I play so some pretty basic questions.

How long does it take for a reliever to warm up?

How many innings would a long reliever likely to play compared to a mid reliever?

What would happen is I used a mid reliever just as a closer in the final inning?

Does using relievers differently to the role set for them have a negative effect on their performance?

Anything else I need to consider?
