Appeals of suspensions

I see by the online manual that Suspensions can be disabled, but if they are not, there appears to be no way to appeal them, as in real life, when they occur.. I have encountered suspensions on my team very seldom, but the latest incident sidelined my hottest hitter for three games just before a vital three-game series. Is this a Wish List item, or is there a remedy that I am missing regarding filing an appeal?

I explain it to myself as the game only pushing through the suspensions whose appeals get denied.

Appeals

Denied how? If the suspension is for a brawl that occurred on May 7 and the player is disqualified for game May 8-10, when did the appeal occur? How does he get those games back?

Usually in MLB there is a two-week lag or thereabouts, and sometimes the player wins. But if the appeal is upheld, sometimes a game of two is shaved off. In OOTP, though, here is no mechanism for even getting a chance to lose the appeal. Obviously a hole in an otherwise fantastic game. I guess they can't think of everything. But I'd rather be able to appeal my player's suspension to the AI rather than be able to set ticket prices. Who actually does that? I'm a baseball guy, not a bean counter.

I mean if it helps you, just imagine they appealed the morning of the 8th and it was denied before 7pm on the 8th?

To me it doesn't matter whether a player serves a suspension on May 8-10 or May 12-14, so I guess I don't worry about it too much and just assume suspensions that are successfully appealed don't show up and the ones that do show up is when either there was no appeal, it was denied, or the suspension that shows up is the reduced post-appeal length.
