Who're you going with?

So with FHM9 on the horizon, who will you be looking forward to doing your first save as?

Personally I'm a Blue Jackets fan, so I'm looking forward to having Johnny Hockey!

Always create an expansion team called the Halifax Privateers in the Atlantic Division. That way I can build a franchise from scratch and it let's me play 3rd and 4th liners from other teams and see if I can find a guy who can be a top line player if just given some minutes. That is so fun!

Gonna test drive 9 with my beloved Nuckleheads. I'm just too much of a glutton for punishment to try something else.

That sounds like a fun way of doing it! Who were some guys from this years edition that managed to make that jump from 3/4th line to be better than expected?

I've not ventured out of the NHL yet! What are some of the fun things about taking over a junior team?

Pius Suter, Kevin Lebanc, and Andreas Athanasiou were consistent 25-35 goal scorers for me. Frankie Vatrano was about the same but I think he is more of a top-6 forward.

Seeing your players being drafted and progress in the minors and NHL.

Constantly retool your team through draft. Dynasties are usually short lived in canadian junior leagues.

In time, when you go to NHL, you can try to draft or sign one of your former junior players.

As always Rangers. Then if the game is enjoyable enough I might do an expansion franchise.

I'm ready to start up a franchise in FHM9 with my Devils, hoping to have success unlike the real team that certainly seems to disappoint :-(

quick question about the game (haven't played FHM before), are you able to sign eligible college players once their season ends? sure would be nice to see Luke Hughes play with his brother Jack ( in the game and irl ) next Spring

If we can import our old saves I intend on continuing my Fischtown Pinguins dynasty in the DEL

Every game i try a new team to play with. Last season was Blackhawks really fun, especially as Kane and Toews got older. That I was forced to do a real rebuild and try to build a long-term Stanley Cup team. Two other fun teams were Senators and Islanders.

For this year i am going to play with St. Louis Blues.

First game will be a Flyers rebuild or a Minnesota cap hell save. Then an unemployed journeyman save starting in Europe lower leagues, to Europe top leagues, to NA minors to the NHL.

Undecided which will be the first. Three options and how they usually go.

1) The Penguins until the league's filled with created players.
2) Ilves in Liiga until something stupid and unrealistic happens. So probably less than a season.
3) The Cleveland Crescent, my expansion team until I get bored of the game or the next one is released.

Canucks for me as well, I've had luck before, it kind of depends how the Devs rank our new players. Other than that, it's fixing the D, OEL is okay...Myers is okay, so you know it's not too bad.
