Shedule seems lopsided

Good day I am currently playing a 1961 Historical game and I just finished a month where my team played 16 games at home and only 2 on the road.
Now in May they play 25 on the road and 7 at home. This can't possibly be right can it?

Looks like your team is the Tigers. It seems correct as per Baseball Reference.

From what I see in those years it was not uncommon to have very unbalanced schedules as far as Home/Away splits within a month go.

sounds like you are using historical schedules based on what ARG said.

so, check out some custom schedules in the mod forum matching current league structure. or, can generate a fictional one in offseason... export it... rename it and re-use it in ensuing years.

the file name can make it automatic... name it the same as your game world. append a comment to file names like "_C_A" and "_C_B" ... to make schedules to be used in a predetermined order, too. letters or numbers will be used in order.

when you look at a generated schedule, check "available options".. the grid view and "evaluate?" report help you see if there are any abnormalities in the schedule created.

Your right I am playing the 61 Tigers, well if that's the way it was my players are going to need an extra suitcase. Thanks for the info.

Pretty common for a railroad-era schedule. It's somewhat surprising that the AL was still drawing up that kind of schedule in 1961, considering most teams were flying to their destinations. It must have been through force of habit. By the end of the decade, though, you'll start seeing more modern-looking schedules.
