New User each year?

Just purchased OOTP '23 and I forgot, for Perfect Team do I just make a new user ID each year or do I use the ones that I've had from previous years?

I tried logging in using my ID from last year it says invalid. When I try to recover my password it says that either my e-mail is invalid OR I've reach my maximum number of reset requests.

They changed back end providers this year so you have to register again, but it shouldn't be a year-to-year thing.
