Question on Parks
Hey all,
Just getting into the 3D parks with a new machine more capable than a past one. Question for you all... I'm not understanding the 3D Park factors compared to the pre-existing Park Factors in the park profile. It doesn't seem that changing weather/location of the stadium has any impact on park factors within the 3D model edit. Pre 3D I was using this https://www.ootputilities.com/parkgen/ but these factors do not correlate to the 3D model when editing fences... So how does the game play? Based on the 3D model "factors" or based on the stadium factors that are manually entered in the Park Profile? Just for an example, using the link above I created a park in Anchorage... LF Line: 341-11 LF: 365-11 LFC: 422-10 CF: 430-10 RCF: 404-11 RF: 334-11 RF Line: 327-11 Avg LHB: .944 Avg RHB: .899 Doubles: 1.069 Triples: .833 HR LHB: .509 HR RHB: .284 Those same dimensions are the default in the 3D Construction, and I chose Anchorage as the weather option for this team's park Avg LHB: 1.048 Avg RHB: 1.074 Doubles: 1.347 Triples: 1.419 HR LHB: .867 HR RHB: .731 So obviously vastly different, and my concern is a stadium playing differently during a sim than it does during a live view. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
